The project stems from the desire to bring the Mining Museum closer to the city. The ideal starting point will be the day of Sunday, June 11, during which the association "Amici delle Miniere," which manages the Museum, will organize a picnic open to citizens. On the same occasion, photographer Serafino Amato (Rome, 1958), active from years in the Spoleto area, will take a series of shots that will document the initiative: the idea is to show the potential of the place, its ability to attract and characterize itself as a meeting and gathering space.
Subsequently, one of the images taken during the day will be printed in several copies and then set up in some of the spaces dedicated to posters found in the city: a kind of diffuse exhibition, which intends to turn a light on a key place of Spoleto's memory, from preserve and, at the same time, revive it in the present.
