Finally, space will also be given to photography with an exhibition dedicated to Gabriele Donati (Spoleto, 1982 - 2022), an author from Spoleto who died prematurely. Rock'n'Roll - metal the pure one does not rust, this is the title of the exhibition to curated by Frak Association, will be hosted in the basement of Palazzo Collicola (entrance from via Vittori Loreto) for the entire period of Festival dei Due Mondi, from June 23 to July 9. The project was initiated by a group of people from Spoleto, united by a shared desire to enhance theopera of Gabriele Donati. The result is a monographic exhibition that brings together a selection of particularly significant works by the author, illustrating the evolution of his research. It consists of more than 50 photographs, which follow three thematic paths: stage photography and theatrical backstage, from his experiences at La Scala Academy in Milan, to stages around the world and the Spoleto Festival; photography of architecture, with specific attention to the works of great contemporary architects who enrich small towns and large metropolises; moments of everyday life, with a gaze that has been able to capture nuances of life with rare artistic and human sensitivity. The exhibition design, with darkened rooms and tracks rock and metal music rearranged on the piano in the background, is intended to offer visitors an immersive and engaging experience.
