The Festival dei Due Mondi is from always a promoter of young talent, new works and new players in the theatrical world. Also this year it is hosting the "Academy Project" theater review, organized by the Silvio d'Amico National Academy of Dramatic Art and dedicated to presenting the best works of 2020 and 2021.

The European Young Theatre, now in its 8th edition, sees student actors and directors from leading international schools propose studies and performances starting from a freely chosen Dantean triplet by the working group, competing in a Group Competition.

Luca Ronconi's Teatrino delle 6 hosts the performance Le false confidenze by Marivaux directed by Valentino Villa, while the indoor and outdoor spaces of the Rocca Albornoziana are residences for the exercises of the course directed from Massimiliano Civica and for the performances Il palazzo della fine by Judith Thompson, directed by Antonella Lo Bianco and Le serve by Jean Genet, directed by Marco Corsucci with the supervision of Arturo Cirillo. Michele Monetta presents his Mask 7, a performance of mime and mask, while Andrea Baracco directs Anton Čechov's Ivanov.

The Academy Company is a guest of the Festival with three productions: The Misanthrope, by Molière directed by Arturo Cirillo, Delicatessen by Francesco Petruzzelli directed by Andrea Lucchetta and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck directed by Luigi Siracusa.

Scheduled at the Teatrino delle 6 Luca Ronconi, finally, is the winning performance of the Andrea Camilleri Prize for the younger generation of artists, named after the writer, director and screenwriter who was a former student and then teacher at the Academy and who devoted much of his life to passionate teaching to future actors and directors.
