ACQUA: Restituzione del progetto Laboratorio Multidisciplinare
Chantsss, Gaia Ginevra Giorgi, Catarina Ribeiro, Andrea Polichetti e Andrea Chiamp
Water is the basis of the life cycle, occupies two-thirds of the globe, (99% of habitable space), and is also the oldest element on the planet, the one that determines the characteristic color seen from space. Humans call themselves terrestrial, but it is also possible to turn the conception upside down, noting that our planet is immersed in a globe of water where lands have emerged. Complementary to land, water hosts differently traversable pathways that harbor and generate specific biodiversity.
The artists involved in the multidisciplinary experience, along with the researchers, will gather in the studio, seeking inspiration for the creation of something in which the element of water will be central and connected to the Greenway that goes from Sant'Anatolia di Narco to Scheggino, the place where the workshop will be held.
to share their experiences and put at the service of a path of discovery and joint work there will be: from a sonic and musical point of view Chantssss (artist with crystalline sounds) and Gaia Ginevra Giorgi (researcher in the field of performing arts) while on the more scenic side Andrea Polichetti (Roman visual artist, present in the festival with a 'opera site specific) and finally Andrea Chiampo (visual artist based to London).
The results of the trail will be presented on July 7 as part of the festival programming, anticipated from a collective walk to explore the location together with CAI researchers.
