In the French storyteller′s tale, however, these two characters are rigidly opposed and embody only the opposition between wisdom and thoughtlessness. On the contrary, in this particular version of the story, the Grasshopper and the Ant, become, at one point, also allies since, in the contrast between dream and reality, a third character insinuates himself between the two protagonists: the Hornet, an unscrupulous impresario and businessman.....
