CONCERTO
Since as far back as 1786, when the first marching bands were formed, the Grenadier Band has always played a very prominent role.
It is thanks to to this centuries-old tradition that Ordnance Music has been able to adapt to the modern music scene, without having lost the style and formality that has always characterized the Grenadier specialty. This is encapsulated in an atmosphere that manages to blend the artistic and military aspects, thanks to ceremonial and formal behavior.
The Ordnance Music of the "Grenadiers of Sardinia" consists of from non-commissioned officers, from volunteers on permanent duty, and volunteers in prefixed detention, who passionately devote themselves to the study of music and carry out tasks such as official visits of heads of state, international sports meetings, as well as multiple military and civilian events.
Since Jan. 1, 2002, Ordnance Music has been directed by 1st Mar. Lgt. Domenico Morlungo.
