Video & Talks
Event by Invitation
Introduced from biographical testimonies interpreted from two great names of international theater the films, produced by Fondazione Carla Fendi under the direction of Gabriele Gianni, on artists Sol LeWitt and Anna Mahler put to focus on the atmospheres, cultural, historical and aesthetic influences that fueled their creativity to Spoleto.
Art, but also Science. A combination that Fondazione Carla Fendi wants to emphasize in the belief that there is no separation between the two worlds. "Two cultures in the mirror," seemingly distant but actually united from perceptual, emotional and intuitive links of creativity. In this parallelism, the opening event hosts a talk by Vittorio Gallese, a neurocognitive scientist; his research identifies the brain mechanisms underlying aesthetic experience.
Finally, for the entire period of the Festival, on the facade of the Teatro Caio Melisso Spazio Carla Fendi the large mural with the close-up of the reproduction of Sol LeWitt'sopera Wall Drawing #1119 and in the foyer of the theater the display of a sculpture by Anna Mahler.
