Sandy Müller
Living on the border between two lands and creating a synthesis between the two cultures that formed her; this is the intention of Sandy Müller Italian-Brazilian singer-songwriter born to Rome and raised with one foot in Italy and the other in Brazil.Musically Sandy translates this intention into the concept of Linea, from hence the title of her latest (second) musical work, Linha."Linha" is a middle ground between her two nations and is the musical encounter between the elegance of Italian melody with the rhythmicity of Brazilian music. The repertoire proposed by the author and composer ranges from bossa nova to pop via samba, in a musical territory where the musicians who from years accompany her meet to leave from the one who arranges the songs she composes together to Sandy, guitarist Claudio Pezzotta. On stage with them are three esteemed musicians from the Italian scene, Emilio Merone on piano, Guerino Rondolone on bass and Mauro Colavecchi on drums. To embellish the elegant concert, two special guests: the producer of both of Sandy's record works, Marcelo Costa, a Brazilian percussionist who from years collaborates with artists such as Caetano Veloso and Maria Bethânia among others, and Brazilian cellist Jaques Morelenbaum former collaborator of Caetano Veloso, Ryuchi Sakamoto and Sting.
"We all live in situations where a choice of behavior,of thinking, of synthesis, of balance is imposed, and that, for me, is living on a line.Everyone on their own line. With this concert I present to you my LINHA. "Sandy
