a Stefano Bollani
Premio speciale a Pierre-Antoine Bardot
A traditional appointment for the Festival, the Monini Prize "Una Finestra sui Due Mondi" is now in its 10th edition. Established by the Monini family in 2010, the award is presented from Maria Flora and Zefferino Monini to nationally and globally renowned artists, along with a "special prize" dedicated to young emerging talents present at the Festival. This year the award is given to Stefano Bollani, an outstanding pianist on the international music scene, in concert at the Teatro Romano. The Special Prize goes to one of the young students of the prestigious Ecole-
Atelier Rudra Béjart on stage with the show My french Valentino. The awardees will greet the audience from the window of Casa Menotti, just as Gian Carlo Menotti, founder of the Festival, used to do. A historic site and former home of the composer, Casa Menotti is now managed by the Monini Foundation and is home to the Documentation Center of Festival dei Due Mondi.
