PIAZZE IN SCENA

Dance, theater, live music and architecture come together in an original site-specific performance experience. Piazze in scena offers audiences a truly special perspective on some of Spoleto's most representative and evocative squares. The show is structured as a to walking tour, with unexpected performances inspired by the architecture, history and personality of some of Spoleto's squares and neighborhoods.

_Piazze in scena _began through a creative residency at La MaMa Umbria International, led from Stephan Koplowitz, one of the most acclaimed and award-winning choreographers and directors in this genre, and award-winning composer Quentin Chiappetta. The performance made with an international cast of actors and dancers, is inspired by the environment of each Piazza, interacting with the history, architecture and atmosphere of the places.

The itinerant site-specific performance will begin at at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. in front of the elevator exit of the new alternative mobility in Campello Square and then move to the adjacent park, continue toward Town Hall Square and conclude in front of Spoleto City Hall.
