Spoleto58 Festival of 2Mondi in collaboration with Umbria Region

The Foundation Festival dei Due Mondi, with the support of the Region of Umbria, is again this year promoting the implementation of a training course for "Theater Mediators" entitled"PUBLIC SPACE: Theatrical Mediation between Promotion and Education of the Public in Performances."

The course is curated and implemented from Giorgio Testa, an expert in theater education, creator and coordinator of many national and international research projects on theater pedagogy and theater for children and youth.

During the Festival, as an ideal completion of the training course, a series of appointments open to the public will be proposed under the title "Paths of vision": the Festival opens up to a meeting space where, under the guidance and care of Giorgio Testa, the in-depth study of some of the shows in the Spoleto58 program will be proposed as stages of a journey in a viewing experience that interweaves knowledge and emotion. A path, indeed, open to fans, but also to curious spectators or those eager to actively experience the Festival.

In addition, a specific project entitled Sottoventi will be dedicated to the youngest, under twenty years of age: the Festival will thus be an opportunity for "initiation" into theater for the youngest as well. Guided paths to the viewing of performances for young people up to twenty years of age, enriched from meetings and activities, will take place during the second and third weekends of the Festival.
