A journey through images in the history of "Terni," one of the oldest and best-known steel companies in our country. A story that began as far back as 1884, when the Italian industry was taking its first steps, and to which the photographs on display testify to its importance and complexity. Images that tell of technological advances, of plant innovations, of gigantic manufactures, but also of how the factory modified territories and landscapes, was the engine of the transformations that went through local society, and built an articulated network of relationships that bound it to its workers.
Each of these photographs encapsulates not one but many stories, stories that are part of our present.
