Centro di Documentazione del Festival dei Due Mondi
Strongly desired by the Monini family and born out of the collaboration between the Foundation of the same name, the Foundation Festival dei Due Mondi and Comune di Spoleto, the Documentation Center of Festival dei Due Mondi has its natural home inside Casa Menotti, the historic palazzetto at Piazza Duomo where the Festival was born and where Maestro Giancarlo Menotti lived, composed and hosted internationally renowned artists. The Documentation Center, which stands as a sign of continuity between the past, present and future, houses all the documentary, audio, video, photographic and printed material, carefully catalogued and digitized, relating to the editions of the Festival from 1958 to the present and is augmented every year with new materials and testimonies. Keeper of the Festival's historical memory, the Documentation Center, open to all free of charge, will allow a true journey through time and the arts thanks to the most advanced multimedia systems.
