The excellences of Umbrian sports and sports journalism meet at the Festival to talk about sports culture.
Olympic Sport lets itself be told by the protagonists of the Umbrian land, the city of Spoleto, from journalists and men of culture.
The dream to five circles envelops the palace of Comune di Spoleto , which from June 25 to July 10 hosts an exhibition on the Olympic Torches - in this edition enriched from the one in Tokyo - and the "Museum of Time" that offers visitors the opportunity to travel through the time of sports timekeeping from Berruti's "wool thread" to Tortu's record photo finish. Equipment that immortalized records and victories of the great champions of Italian Sport and beyond.
On the stage of the Festival, moreover, thanks to a program created by the Regional Committee CONI Umbria and the Federations involved, the protagonists are the sportsmen of the great blue Olympic successes: yesterday's and today's champions who have been able to write their name and that of our region in the firmament of world and Olympic sports and who, in three appointments conducted from sports journalists, tell their experiences to five circles, the result of great motivation and strong values that inspired their exploits and realized the dream of all sportsmen: to participate in the Olympic Games.
After the success in the previous editions, for the fourth year, CONI thus confirms its participation in the Festival: the positive values that have guided and guide the champions of Italian Sport enrich the event with culture, in this case sports culture, to make from glue between two worlds only apparently distant.
