Documentari

The Spoleto65 film review, hosted to Palazzo Collicola and at Sala Pegasus in collaboration with Mahler&LeWitt Studios, presents documentaries by Thierry De Mey, director and composer of numerous scores for contemporary dance performances, including works by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. Ample space is also devoted to the work of documentary filmmaker Michael Blackwood, author of Spoleto 1967, made on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Festival dei Due Mondi. The Festival presents fifteen of his documentaries, including those dedicated to Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Philip Guston, Sol LeWitt and Thelonius Monk. Finally, the programming includes a series of documentaries exploring the extraordinary art of post-modern dance icon Trisha Brown.
