I musicanti di Brema
The play, based on the famous fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, recounts the adventures of a dog, a cat, a donkey and a rooster who flee their respective places of life and meet to start a new existence that will allow them to live peacefully. Thus begins, for the four friends, an extraordinary adventure. The play won the 2004 National "Stregagatto" Award as the best Children's Theater play. The main themes of this play are loneliness, hope and the value of friendship, in a phantasmagorical and playful staging, with music performed live, in which the stories of the four friends intertwine in the one dream of a better future. Musical animals with accordion, accordion, trombone, drum, saxophone but also, and above all, comic actors and an all rhyming text in order to play with words and music that, like the wind, invades to gusts the scene...
