"Solidarity, a collective value"
The Association"Paolo Ettorre - Socially Correct" in collaboration with the Festival dei Due Mondi of Spoleto, is promoting an advertising communication contest on a socially relevant topic to award a scholarship.
The Association was created to commemorate the figure of Paolo Ettorre, who in his career has always distinguished himself for his sensitivity and commitment to social issues by being a promoter of numerous campaigns on issues of relevance to society.
The contest is aimed at students residing in Italy, attending universities, public and private schools, vocational courses and/or post-graduate specialization courses in the field of communication. to each member of the creative couple that will be the winner of the contest will be given the opportunity to do an unpaid internship, respectively in the role of Art Director and Copywriter, at the creative department of Saatchi & Saatchi Agency, in one of the offices in Rome or Milan.
The social campaign on which the participants in the competition are called to to confront, touches this year on the highly topical theme: solidarity - a theme in tune with the 2011 European Year of Voluntary Activities, which stems from the desire to encourage and support - particularly through the exchange of experiences and good practices - the efforts of the Community, member states, local and regional authorities to create in civil society conditions favorable to volunteering in the European Union.
The goal of the Socially Correct 2011 Competition′s communication project, under the patronage of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, is to promote active citizenship and to stimulate in young people a widespread dissemination of spontaneous, free and altruistic commitment through which every volunteer can contribute to the material and moral progress of society.
The presentation of the winning project will take place at the concert/performance PIER PAOLO PASOLINI - LA REALTÀ with Claudio Santamaria, July 3 , 2011 in the Teatro Romano of Spoleto.
