UN PERCORSO NELLA MODERNITÀ DEL BAROCCO
progetto ideato e realizzato dalla FONDAZIONE CARLA FENDI
The classical vocality of the Pueri Cantores of the Sistine Chapel. A young, propulsive soul and true flagship of the entire choir, the Pueri Cantores keep alive a tradition that, albeit with various interruptions, now lasts from 15 centuries, contributing to the enhancement of a unique musical heritage. In this performance, the choir dialogues with the words of poet Giuseppe Manfridi to music by Samuel Barber.
Versatility of great soloists who "delude" with unexpected appearances. Cuba's Escuela Nacional de Ballet, the best of European and American academic traditions declined with the vitality and musicality typical of the Isla Grande; contrasted with the baroque music of Gian Battista Lulli.
A voice without boundaries and limitations. Mastery beyond time by countertenor Max Emanuele Cencic, one of the most important figures in the rediscovery of 18th-century music; accompanied by the baroque ensemble Il Pomo d'Oro.
Cangianze precisely, as mutability and contemporary rewriting of Baroque Theater. Or "of deception."
Specially designed for the fifth edition of the Prize Fondazione Carla Fendi a performance between contemporary and daring baroque elaborations.
Three different moments between choral, dance and song.
