EUROPEAN YOUNG THEATRE 2017

The "Academy Project" of the National Academy of Dramatic Art "Silvio d'Amico" is dedicated to presenting the best essays and exercises of 2017. In collaboration with the Spoleto Festival and Change Performing Arts, the Academy presents_ Hamletmachine_, with 3rd year students, directed by Robert Wilson. The 3rd year student directors present Fassbinder There is no love without pain, studies conducted from Arturo Cirillo on Rainer Werner Fassbinder. Lorenzo Salveti leads 2nd year student actors in Il Cavaliere del Pestello Ardente essay, Heiner Müller Tre paesaggi, touring performance by 2nd year student directors, to curated by Giorgio Barberio Corsetti.
This year to Spoleto inaugurates the activities of the Compagnia dell'Accademia, with the presentation of Notturno di donna con ospiti - Studio on the 1982 version by Annibale Ruccello, directed by Mario Scandale and starring Arturo Cirillo; and Un ricordo d'inverno, dramaturgy and direction by Lorenzo Collalti, winner of the SIAE SILLUMINA New Works call.
For the fifth edition of European Young Theatre, fifty young actors and directors from leading European schools will offer their projects competing in a Groups Competition.
As every year, the young students of Year I will animate the streets of the historic center with a traveling performance Mask 4, directed from Michele Monetta.
The program of the Academy's participation in the Festival, this year is enriched with a photo exhibition chronicling the activities of the school's students to Spoleto, from 2009 to 2017.
