UNA STANZA VIOLA
CENTODIECI È ISPIRAZIONE:
A purple room represents that place where anything can happen. A stage, is but a "room" within which one dances the nuances of life and does so using one's body and the emotions that arise from the movements.
Five dancers and their stories, which can be the stories of anyone, of any spectator who in this room becomes a witness to what is happening right in front of his or her eyes.
There are those questions that will never be answered. Those emotions that often have no voice but exist and are real in all their wonderful facets. There is love, which does not have one face, which does not have one color, but blurs according to the emotions that make it come into being and exist.
There is friendship, the kind that makes everything better and is tinged with smiles and cheerfulness with every movement.
There is also that violence that is hidden behind the word "love." On a stage one can dance to the hope, restlessness and deep despair felt by all those women to whose dignity as a human being and right to be truly loved is taken away. All this happens right in a room, the one that should instead protect, welcome and give serenity. All too often this is "violated."
Purple is a color that is born from the union of other colors, that is born from red and white, which form the symbolic color of the feminine universe: pink, but to which just add a little blue and it transforms, becomes something else, becomes its own color, with its own name and characteristic.
A purple room is a show where you dance the nuances of life, and where you dance your emotions without fear. Because one can and should simply be what one is.

True to its vision "to offer the relationship for Excellence," Mediolanum Corporate University organizes cultural events throughout Italy dedicated to the personal and professional development of members of the Banca Mediolanum community. The protagonists of these events are individuals who have distinguished themselves for their ability to do, or rather, to make things happen, the true condition necessary to improve the context in which we all live and work. They all embody models of excellence and shared values and ideals from Banca Mediolanum: that is why they are guests of Mediolanum Corporate University, through the event One Hundred and Ten is Inspiration. Special guest Simona Atzori, a dancer who has graced stages all over the world, flew on her toes with the étoile of La Scala at Roberto Bolle and Friends, was a Dance Ambassador in the Jubilee of 2000, opened the 2006 Winter Paralympics, and today brings her talent around Italy together with her Simonarte Dance Company and the dancers of La Scala in Milan. Simona teaches us the value of courage, of looking at the people around us with clear eyes, without limits or preconceptions but simply looking deeply into them. "Love is a very simple thing, and it is precisely in its simplicity that it has its own dignity."
A meeting/interview with Simona Atzori follows at the end of the dance performance.
