The first chapter of the tale deals with Pinocchio´s adventures disjointed, interrupted, reknotted; the memories of the puppet´s history and his lies exhibited in a race between good guys and bad guys, between swindles and crimes, in the Rocca´s courtyard of honor, where for 200 years they have crossed paths, the true stories of the imprisonment of thousands of men with the true stories of their overseers.
In the second chapter nothing told is true everything is a lie, Lucian writes a logbook of a fantastic journey west of the Pillars of Hercules until to reaching the new continent, the land foretold from Radamanto.
the crew comes across mysterious islands inhabited from strange beings, rivers of wine and milk, islands of cheese, generous as well as surreal landscapes with cities of gold and precious stones.
Sailors driven from a strong wind land on the Moon, here they participate in the war between Solenians and Lunarians for the conquest of the star Espero. The ship leaves the Moon to return to Earth, in the middle of the Ocean is swallowed from a whale, inhabited from monstrous tribes, in wandering in the bowels of the enormous cetacean Luciano meets Scintaro and his son swallowed 27 years earlier (Geppetto and Pinocchio). After a year and nine months vanquished the amphibious monsters, suffocated the whale they return to navigate the Ocean to discover other dimensions outside time and space, other islands, otherworldly places, such as the island of the blessed, the island of torments called the ungodly and the elusive island, the island of dreams...
_Giorgio Flamini
AdCantus Ensemble Vocale from years collaborates steadily with the #SIneNOmine company in the production of the shows created from Giorgio Flamini in the program of the Spoleto 2mondi Festival. The overall project of theater in prison, among all those in which AdCantus is involved on national soil, has become among the most humanly and artistically felt and has attracted an increasing number of choristers and musicians eager to lend their professionalism.
NONE, VICTIMS... and now TRUE STORY..., represent milestones in the ensemble's enrichment process, a partnership with the restricted universe: inmates, educators, teachers, volunteers, artists... up to the prison administration, which develops on the sociocultural and artistic level innovative experiments.
Regarding the strictly musical aspects, the pieces performed were carefully chosen, adapted and often composed from scratch according to multiple registers and styles to meet the dramaturgical requirements of a visually prominent, extremely fascinating and complex show, which under the metaphor of the fantastic tale from Luciano di Samosata to Carlo Collodi, addresses the delicate themes of freedom, choice, guilt, judgment, and education.
AdCantus Ensemble Vocale is proud to lend its voice to a universe that we are often comfortable thinking of as silent: music becomes the medium of contact, of sharing, of building.
_Francesco Corrias
Inspired by the anti-classical character ofopera and its remarkable performative openings, Director Giorgio Flamini condenses in the stage act the original lucianeo and the reverberations that from the Renaissance to the Baroque to the contemporary age seal its quality as a central text of Western culture (central precisely because it is exceptional and oblique). Using the text as the initial provocation of a tool to illustrate the difficulty-all human-of landing to a dimension of certainty and stability, of limpid and unambiguous worldview, of confident confidence in the ability to operate in and on the real, and playing on the composite nature of the #SIne Nomine company (Prisoners and Professional Actors, performers, musicians), Giorgio Flamini stages a dark, baroque and twentieth-century fable: sailor-puppets, lucian monsters and characters from the Collodian fable, immersed in scenes and costumes that pay homage to the Bauhaus, will welcome the transit of guests, cross invisible walls that collapse to be continually and vainly rebuilt, reconstruct the central episodes of the True Story and the adventures of Pinocchio that are inspired by it. In a swirling and incessant movement, each scene will be continually disassembled and reassembled: so for the boat to oars of Lucian and the great cetacean, the islands of the wicked, the righteous, the dreams and the stories of Pinocchio ...
In a huge human sea (the audience), Free and Restricted Actors will enact the joyful labor of being alive, of trying to tell the truth, of inventing a plausible and possibly consoling fable.

The #SINENOMINE project began as a theater workshop for the staging of Jean Genet's Sorveglianza speciale to 30 years after Marco Gagliardo's experience in 1982 at the 25th Festiva dei Due Mondi.
The #SN theater workshop, which started with fifteen inmates, over the years has exceeded one hundred participants, of all ages and nationalities, from from various security circuits, aged between 20 and 70, able to play different roles (playwright, actor, dancer, assistant director, assistant set designer, props man, audio-visual officer, stage manager ...). After the first experience, the project continued with the #MA#IA#NO# trilogy composed from three plays written with the involvement of the inmates: _Pathetic Affections/Affective Activity, The Best of All Possible Worlds 1980 2025, Miracle to Maiano_La, included in the programming of the 56th, 57thand 58th Festival dei Due Mondi. Thereafter, from 2016 to 2022, the Spoleto Festival hosted a new production each year: 'to città 'e Pulecenella, Nessuno, VICTIMS, Nessuno Torna to Itaca si non se noverit, Storia Vera 'e capite comm'è, Sempre in quell'aura Sanza tempo tinta, Tempo Libero c and, in 2022, the show Je est un autre. In each project, the #SINENOMINE Company is joined by from professional artists, collaborates on a permanent basis with actors and students from the Teodelapio theater school, and makes use of the professional contributions of Euno Terni for movement and choreography, the Ad Cantus Vocale Choir for the musical and singing parts, Studio Flamenco Roma and their respective artistic directors. The granting of alternative measures granted by the Magistrate of Surveillance and the management to inmate-actors has enabled some inmates to perform with the Company extramoenia throughout the country (Rome, Turin, Genoa, Chieti, Calcata, Matera, Florence, Foligno, Terni). The Company is supported by the generosity of numerous artists (among them Sara Ragni, Laura Bassetta, Mariolina Maconio, Lucia Napoli, Pina Segoni, Lorena Salis, Serena Perna, Francesco Corrias, EUNO dancers, singers of the ad Cantus Vocale Choir) and supported by the Casa di Reclusione, Festival dei Due Mondi, the Francesca, Valentina and Luigi Antonini Foundation, from other local entities.
