Sonata alla terra, al cielo
An acoustic installation resulting from the collaboration between Spoleto-based multi-instrumentalist Marcello Bizzarri and Tuscan composer Luigi Guarnieri. The event involves the historic-natural area of the Bridge of Towers: four different locations for four different orchestral ensembles, coordinated with open and modular direction techniques by composer Luigi Guarnieri. The project is carried out with the participation of numerous musicians from the area, including musicians from the Spoleto Music Band and the School of Music.
The event involves the natural-historical area of the Bridge of Towers (Rocca Albornoziana, Fortilizio dei Mulini, the hermit cave of St. Leonard and the peculiar rock formation known to Spoleto as the "Pope's Chair").
