Technology Strategies Directorate.

RAI with the Technology Strategies Directorate will be to Spoleto for the 2011 edition of the Festival, at the invitation of Artistic Director, Giorgio Ferrara.

The invitation was, in fact, welcomed with particular enthusiasm because of the research and experimentation effort that the Technology Strategies Directorate, through the Technical Quality Structure, has from long initiated precisely to improve the production and television broadcasting of THEATER, enhancing technological innovation as a path that is able to return to the viewer the emotions and characteristics proper to the theatrical performance. New technologies (especially HD and 3D and together with the most up-to-date oleophonic footage) organize, in fact, a different and interesting relationship between theater and television.

Spoleto will thus be able to become the extraordinary opportunity for an exceptional live broadcast of several plays, filmed in the evocative settings of the Festival's venues and simultaneously proposing a single grand narrative, realized through connections between them alternating and yet always capable of proposing quality of images and sounds.
