Accademia Project / European Young Theatre

The Festival dei Due Mondi presents the 16th edition of the Progetto Accademia, showcasing the finest thesis projects from the 2024-2025 academic year, alongside the 12th edition of European Young Theatre. This unique event brings together actors and directors from leading European drama schools to compete in a Group Competition. Massimo Popolizio directs the young actors of the Compagnia dell’Accademia in Delitti Letterari, an evocative production inspired by the works of Max Aub, Simenon, and Maupassant. The thesis performances of first, second, and third-year students are curated by Massimiliano Civica, Andrea Baracco, and Giovanni Ortoleva, respectively. Luca De Fusco oversees the directing workshops of student directors Enrico Torzillo and Fabio Faliero. The program is further enriched by the performances of the winners of the Premio Camilleri.
