from this year the SIAE, in agreement with the Festival management, decided to give more space to individual Arts and Authors, promoting a single category each year: the 2014 edition is dedicated to Music, the 2015 edition

to Theater and the 2016 one to Dance. The appointment of this 57th edition is therefore with young musical talents. On June 28 at at 11 a.m. on the stage of Spoleto's Teatro Nuovo, the three authors, selected through three of Italy's most prestigious musical institutions: the CPM, Franco Mussida's Centro Professione Musica; the Tenco Prize and the Donida Prize, will be the protagonists of a performance, at the end of which this year's winner will be decreed, who will be awarded a SIAE Targa and a prize of 5,000 euros. Since 2009, SIAE has been at the side of Spoleto Festival dei 2Mondi, precisely to support young people and culture. Over the years, in fact, numerous SIAE Prizes for Creativity have been awarded to emerging artists - in 2010 to Vincenzo Manna, Luciano Ceglia and Jacopo Godani, in 2011 to Raphael Gualazzi, Marco Calvani, Daniele Saul Ardillo and Andrea Castorina, in 2012 to Alessandro Mannarino, Claudio Cangialosi, Carlo Bondanini and Giovanni Franci, in 2013 to Dente, Marco Pelle, Adelaide Stazizi and Gabriele Di Luca - alongside whom were also awarded Lifetime Achievement awards to personalities from the world of culture and entertainment such as Dante Ferretti, Alessandra Ferri, Ritz Ortolani, Franca Valeri.
