Air France, a partner of the Festival dei 2Mondi, this year established the "Culture Beyond Borders" award. The award is given to theopera or artist who best represents the concept of transversality and internationality of culture and art.

This year Air France decided to give the award to Alessandra Ferri, an excellent expression of the magic and international language of dance and from three years curator of the Festival′s tersicorean programming.

Throughout her long career, in fact, the Italian ′étoile has performed on stages and for dance companies all over the world, from the Royal Ballet in London to the Paris Opera, passing through San Pietroburgo, Milan, New York, Moscow, Toronto, Buenos Aires, L′Avana, Hamburg and Sydney, among many other theaters, and contributing to across cultural boundaries through dance.
