Musica da Casa Menotti
Musica from Casa Menotti is a review of from chamber music concerts that takes place in what was once the Spoleto residence of Maestro Gian Carlo Menotti, organized by the Monini Foundation and curated by artistic director Federico Mattia Papi. Now in its 11th edition, it hosts young musicians by fostering cultural exchange between different musical realities. This year's program features eight concerts and hosts seventeen musicians from from around the world, thanks in part to to partnerships with prestigious musical institutions such as The Juilliard School, the Royal Academy of Music in London, the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Le Dimore del Quartetto and Nuova Accademia di Jazz Il Tetracordo. Intimacy is a key element of the concerts, allowing for a privileged connection between musician and audience and intended to humanize the role of the musician. Beyond to presenting classical forms, Musica from Casa Menotti concerts transcend predetermined musical genres and promote multidisciplinary art forms through new generations of musicians.
