La Bella e la Bestia
A merchant, father of three daughters, gets lost in the woods. He finds refuge in the palace of the Beast. Here he tries to steal a rose, and for this the Beast threatens him with death. The only chance of salvation is for one of the daughters to to die in his place. The most beautiful one accepts the sacrifice. But she will meet another fate. With Beauty and the Beast continues a journey on storytelling to two voices and, simultaneously, a research work on the theme of diversity. Through the compelling interweaving of this classic fairy tale we intend to talk about some aspects of this very topical issue, in particular, in this case, about the "different "that lies within us.The protagonists of the story both have characteristics that make them special, but, at the same time, related to each of us. Our work focuses mainly on deepening and searching for their most human aspects: why does the human being to sometimes become a beast? Is there perhaps a "beast" inside each of us? What drives us to be bad, to continue to be bad?
