Why invest in culture? Because investing in culture means investing in the future. Because culture is a value that belongs to our history. Because culture is historical and artistic heritage, it is landscape, it is entertainment; but it is also knowledge, science and philosophy, creativity and expertise.
Enhancing and protecting culture means first and foremost promoting the social and civic development of the country.
Investments to in favor of culture represent the engine for the revitalization of individual and collective growth in our communities. But they also represent a strategic driver of economic development on which our country's prospects can hinge.
Culture, therefore, as a necessary tool for an effective strategy to restore hope for a better future and quality of life for citizens and, especially, the younger generation.
In these premises lie the reasons for this meeting, which aims to investigate from different points of view what motivations can justify investment in culture.
