The "Paolo Ettorre - Socially Correct" Association was established to commemorate the figure of Paolo Ettorre, who, during a 30-year career in the Saatchi & Saatchi advertising agency, always stood out for his sensitivity and commitment to social issues, championing numerous campaigns on issues of relevance to society.
With the intention of continuing this commitment, each year the Association announces a contest, aimed at to students taking courses in the field of communication, with the goal of developing a campaign on a social issue. The winning campaign will give the creative couple the opportunity to intern in the creative department of Saatchi & Saatchi agency.
This year's contest, now in its 10th year, is dedicated to Save the Children and focuses on a major theme: violence against children from 0 to 3 years old.
Save the Children is the leading independent international organization, dedicated since 1919 to save children in danger and to promote their rights through effective, innovative and sustainable programs of excellence. Present in Italy since 1998, it has established itself as a professional and influential organization in the field of children.
The issue of violence against children is extremely complex and addresses different areas of children's lives, particularly in the early childhood stage. But as early as conception and throughout the course of pregnancy, exposure to physical and psychological violence can have a very serious impact on the life of the mother and the development of that of the child.
The campaign will aim to to raise awareness, in an innovative way, of the issue of violence specifically physical and emotional maltreatment that results in immediate and potential damage to the health, developmental possibility and dignity of the child, with a message: children from 0-3 years can be exposed to physical or psychological maltreatment that produces damage in their physical and psychological development. Child abuse exists, let's fight it every day.
