As part of activities aimed at promoting the system of higher artistic, musical and choreographic education, the General Directorate for Students, Development and Internationalization of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, annually organizes the National Arts Prize, a nationwide competition that rewards the best students enrolled in conservatories, Italian Institutes of Higher Musical Studies and authorized private institutions to awarding academic degrees.
Following the success of last year's edition, the collaboration between the Ministry of Education, University and Research and the Foundation Festival dei Due Mondi, aimed to at focusing attention on young people embarking on difficult concert careers, continues this year, allowing the winners of the 13th Edition of the Arts Prize to participate in the Midday Conc erts and Evening Concerts.
The winners who perform are selected to nationwide from juries composed of from distinguished musicians.
