Chopin e dintorni
Continuing on the project line traced in 2013 with the Midday Concerts Cycle dedicated to the theme Debussy and Surroundings welcomed by the public with lively interest and growing participation, the Muzio Clementi Association proposes again, with the 11 piano concerts of Chopin and Surroundings, a similar path, in-depth and fascinating, which starting from the best-known and best-loved works of the great musician expands to explore the environment and cultural climate of his country of origin - Poland - without renouncing to highlighting then, also affinities and links with different European composers and countries. Thus "framed" in its own authentic, but very little-known - and in some cases even ignored - artistic context, Chopin's complex, innovative, even revolutionary personality stands out all the more extraordinarily, and his music - thanks to a group of six fine performers who are exceptional and passionate devotees of it - returns to to speak straight to the hearts of listeners.
