This year marks 100 years since the founding of the Bauhaus, a true laboratory of modernity. In little more than a decade artists and designers, architects and musicians, theater men and craftsmen left an indelible mark on all forms of the arts in the 20th century. The roots of so many masters and innovators in the performing arts of even the present day are rooted in that workshop.
With this program - in collaboration with the Bauhaus100 Festival and the Akademie der Künste in Berlin - we want to remember and pay tribute to to that extraordinary creative season, which was finally reset to zero by Nazism in 1933, offering in a special way to new generations the reconstruction of the most famous interdisciplinary experiments of those years.
