Sinking forever into today's Atlantic Ocean is the Atlantis of the Fantastics. Reappears to surprise, in our Mediterranean of the West, the Island of that Atlas that 15 Greek authors swear to us at the Center of the World. And so finds again its First History Sardinia, Sacred Island for all, put there to splitting in two the 40th parallel north, the very first equator. And yes: without lying maps everything comes back to place... If indeed the "first" Pillars of Hercules (written about by Pindar, Herodotus, Plato & C. between the 6th and 3rd centuries to.C.) were at first at the Sicilian Channel, everything must be reinterpreted. Unesco, Accademia dei Lincei, Italian Geographical Society said yes: the Columns before ending to Gibraltar, dragged down there to update the new Alexandrian geographies, had a first location at the Sicilian Channel, frontier between Greek World and Phoenician World. Geography? Sure. But not only that: that new cartography encrypted and blurred the First History. For twenty-two centuries all the accounts of the most authoritative Greeks, expelled from their original locations, sought beyond Gibraltar, became reveries, mysteries, nonsense. Yet those same tales of theirs - exiting from the "first" Columns to the Sicilian Channel - return to become reality: one lands to a mind-boggling Sardinia, rich in everything, first a paradise, then - because of its sea that betrayed it - a hell of malaria and abandonment...Reread the Ancients to verify and believe.
