Sold out at Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti for Neri Marcorè concert
It was a great success last night for the traditional end-of-year event at Festival dei Due Mondi , which saw Neri Marcorè, in the unusual guise of singer and musician, take the stage at the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti, which was sold out for the occasion.Accompanied by his band comprising from Domenico Mariorenzi, Fabrizio Guarino, Alessandro Patti and Simone Talone, Marcorè thrilled the audience, which filled the stages and stalls of the Nuovo, with more than two and a half at of music retracing some of the best-known pieces of Italian singer-songwriter, from De Gregori to Verranno to chiederti del nostro amore by De Andrè, from Ligabue to Monnalisa and Il chitarrista by Ivan Graziani, and again Bennato, Morandi, until to engaging the audience with the notes of Battisti's Il tempo di morire and closing with Fossati's C'è tempo. In addition to the unforgettable and unforgettable Italian names, finally, Marcorè and his band also gave space to the international scene with the folk of Simon & Garfunkel and the punk rock of Blondie with the famous Call me.
