Mena Mark Hanna is the new general director of Spoleto Festival USA

The artistic director of Festival dei Due Mondi Spoleto has congratulated the appointment of Mena Mark Hanna as the new General Director of the Spoleto Festival USA. Hanna arrives to Charleston from the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin, where he was founding dean and professor of Musicology and Composition. In his new role, Hanna will carry forward Spoleto's commitment to to producing and presenting innovative and world-class artistic programming across the performing arts disciplines; providing a platform for young and established artists.
