Ben Böhmer presents 'Bloom' in Italian Premiere at the Festival dei Due Mondi

Following the sold-out performances of Max Cooper and Oneohtrix Point Never, electronic music returns to Spoleto’s Roman Theatre on Wednesday, July 2 at 9:30 PM with a concert by Ben Böhmer, presenting his new album Bloom.

A visionary of the electronic music scene and the creator of a distinctive sound that blends house beats with dreamlike atmospheres, Böhmer has captivated audiences at the world’s top festivals, performing for thousands at Sónar, Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, Sziget, Lost Village, EDC, and Life Is Beautiful.

He has just wrapped up a record-breaking world tour — sold out months in advance — and now unveils Bloom, his latest work following the critically acclaimed debut album Breathing and its successor Begin Again.

“This album reconnected me with music after years of intense touring. It’s a journey through change, self-discovery, and the search for the right moment to ‘bloom’,” Böhmer shares.

Originally trained in piano and trumpet, Böhmer found his personal musical language through synthesizers, which led him into electronic music production. Improvisation has always played a key role in his work, making each live set a unique and unrepeatable experience.

With nearly one billion streams to date, his music stands as a testament to his international success.
