The Gruppo Sbandieratori e Musici Città di Foligno was founded in 2018 to represent the traditions and enhance Foligno and its famous Giostra della Quintana. Inspired by the early Baroque (1613), it is dedicated to the pageantry of period dress and traditional sounds. In addition to the historical group, the Association has founded a marching band with a repertoire ranging from the 1600s to the present day. The marching band is in demand on various occasions, from municipal Christmas events to Carnival parades.
