"As ardent as desire" (Le Monde) and "insanely inventive" (Télérama): Pockemon Crew is the symbol of the new generation of global hip hop. Eight "children of the street," discovered in the late 1990s under the arcades of Lyon'sOpera theater, have captivated audiences with their creativity, winning international championships several times and transforming urban dance into a universal language.

to each new performance, the Pockemon Crew show that hip hop is more than just a movement. It is a way to express one's identity, to shout to the world who we are, from where we come from, and where we want to go. It is an ode to life, to the strength that arises from every step, to that determination that keeps us going, always, with our heads held high and our hearts beating faster.

Inspired by the cinema of the 1930s and 1940s, the show Ciak, si gira! celebrates Hollywood musicals, from the footsteps of Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly to the magic of Stanley Donen and Vincent Minnelli, with costumes and sets that recreate the atmosphere of the movie studios of the time. Paying homage to the roots of the seventh art, with a to callback to Lyon-their hometown where the Lumière brothers invented cinema in the 19th century-the company tells the story of the beginnings of the hip hop movement, born in 1940s New York. They tell a story that is our story: one of struggle, of hopes, of dreams shattered and rebuilt.
