A Song in the Pot

Romy loves to sing, she comes from the city and is allergic to plants and animal hair, her sister Broom lives in a small house in the woods together with the owl Owl who speaks only English. Broom is a witch but Romy doesn't know it! The use of bilingualism consists in the alternation of Italian and English and allows the full understanding of what is happening on the scene and at the same time the assimilation of the foreign language.

Language level
The language used is at an elementary level (YLE language level: Starters/Movers), thanks to the use of bilingualism and the vehicle of theatrical performance, it is not necessary for children to already know the meaning of the term used or of the verbal construct, as this is understood and sensed from the context and almost always accompanied by the Italian jokes of another character.
