Spoleto welcomed and shared the first major multidisciplinary art and entertainment exhibition of the 20th century, conceived from Gian Carlo Menotti, as a field of cultural contamination between Europe and the United States of America. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of this fantastic creation, the City is promoting a large, widespread exhibition. The itinerary ideally starts from the Rocca Albornoz, with the section 1958: at the roots of history, and ends in the spaces, reopened for the occasion, of the former church of Sant'Agata, where one is immersed in an evocative tale of the artistic happenings of these 60 years. Fragments of this wide-ranging and evocative tale unfold throughout the city along the mechanized access routes to the historic center and in commercial activities.
