"Fragments of a theatrical journey": exhibition open until to Sunday, Sept. 12.
The exhibition-tribute that brings to light photographs, costumes and stage furnishings that have made the history of Festival dei Due Mondi has been extended until to Sunday, Sept. 12, to allow to tourists and residents to admire real pieces of art made by the skilled hands of the craftsmen who have succeeded one another from edition to edition.The exhibition, to curated by Piero Maccarinelli, intends to enhance the fundamental work of the artisans-artists without whom the festival would not have achieved the international prestige that has distinguished it. It is a first eclectic survey of costumes selected from the thousands in the festival's warehouse that represents a preview of the work that will be more organically developed in next years by thematic cycles.The exhibition, housed in the spaces of Palazzo Collicola, is open from friday to Sunday from at 10:30 a.m. to at 1 p.m. and from at 3:30 p.m. to at 7 p.m. Access, which is free for residents to Spoleto and young people up to 14 years old, costs €5.00 (full ticket), while Spoleto Card holders, the Over65s, the Under25s and groups of at least 15 people are entitled to the reduced to €3.00.
