Call for new Creative Pathways

BOTTOM UP is the new project of support, accompaniment and development of new works, dedicated to emerging artists/companies/informal collectives working in the performing arts, born out of the collaboration between the Umbrian residencies CURA Centro Umbro Residenze Artistiche, HOME Centro Creazione Coreografica, and TSU Teatro Stabile dell'Umbria, Festival dei Due Mondi of Spoleto and Teatro Fontemaggiore, in order to consolidate new ways of coordinated work between the different sectors of the Live Performing Arts System and accompany paths of creation.
We select original projects by emerging informal individual artists/companies/collectives working in the performing arts
- PHASE 1: RESIDENCE
➤ selection of 3 projects (including at least one dance project)
➤ up to to 20 days of creative residency between October and mid-December 2024
➤ work space (with basic technical equipment).
➤ mentoring and accompaniment
➤ economic support of €3000 gross
➤ accommodation(for all members in apartment or guesthouse with use of kitchen)
- PHASE 2: CONTRIBUTION TO CREATION
➤ selection of only 1 project with contribution of € 8,800 gross
➤ mentoring and accompaniment
- PHASE 3 : PUBLIC PRESENTATION
The selected project will also have
➤ at least 3 public presentations by 2025 (2 repeat Spoleto Festival, 1 repeat Fontemaggiore season)
