In 1970 Victoria Chaplin met actor and director Jean Baptiste Thierrée, who dreamed of creating a new kind of circus. Thus was born Le Cirque Bonjour. In 1971 _Le Cirque Bonjour _is invited to the Festival d'Avignon and from there starts a tour throughout France with Victoria participating. Later the couple comes to a more personal approach to the world of circus: Le Cirque Imaginaire is born along with their two children, Aurélia and James. With Le Cirque Imaginaire and the more recent Le Cirque Invisible they enjoy enormous success all over the world.
Aurélia Thierrée has been treading the stage since an early age. She debuted and worked regularly in Victoria and Jean Baptiste Thierrée's shows:_ Le Cirque Imaginaire _and Le Cirque Invisible. He has collaborated with film directors such as Milos Forman, Coline Serreau and Jacques Baratier. For several years he collaborated with the London cult band The Tiger Lillies in The Tiger Lillies Circus. He has also worked for music hall and cabaret in Berlin. Since 2003 she has been performing L'Oratorio d'Aurélia directed from her mother, her first show from starring with which she tours all over the world.
Jaime Martinez was born to San Juan (Puerto Rico) and raised to Columbia (South Carolina), where he began his training with Ann Brodie and Nao-mi Calvert. He continued his training at the North Carolina School of the Arts and the American Dance Machine to New York. He was a founding member of the Parsons Company in 1985 and for more than 15 years David Parsons created several roles for him. Jaime Martinez has participated to nearly 400 master classes, including several at the famous Juilliard School. He has received the New York Dance and Performance Bessie Award.
