**THE MEETINGS OF PAOLO MIELI **

An ideal city, where history and modernity, culture and innovation, tradition and future coexist without ever coming into conflict. Spoleto is the place of choice, as well as the theme of the new Paolo Mieli Meetings, now in their fourth edition.

In the now traditional series of conversations led by historian and journalist Paolo Mieli, great protagonists of the political, economic and social life of our country intervene in a moment of confrontation and dialogue between different visions, thoughts and experiences.

A moment of reflection and confrontation that brings together national, regional, provincial, and municipal institutions with stakeholders to explore some particular issues related to the infrastructure system of our country, both from a national and local perspective. Two at of discussion aimed at the drafting, from part of the participants, of "The Charter of Spoleto," a programmatic manifesto for the development of the city and surrounding areas as a new reality for futuristic new opportunities. Present at the working table for the government is the undersecretary to the MIT, Hon. Umberto Del Basso De Caro.

PRESENTATION of "The Charter of Spoleto" to citizenship in the presence of national institutions. A fair confrontation with the public administration on the problems and proposals of those who live the city, also in light of the decisions and commitments that emerged during previous meetings. A moment of dialogue with the government, the mayor, stakeholders, and private individuals, as well as with great international signatures in urban planning and land use, landscape experts, and public and private infrastructure managers who have to at heart the fate of Spoleto. Participants include Riccardo Nencini, deputy minister at MIT; Marco Patuano, CEO of Edizione Holding; and Paolo Verri, director of Matera 2019.
