Synopsis

The title of 'opera stands for the co-presence of a dual interpretation, one referred to "crucifixion" and one referred to "tale X." The co-presence as a sign of the indecipherability inherent in 'opera poetics, which cannot disregard personal participation for an "oriented" understanding.

Xfiction was born as a thought about how to approach video by progressively eliminating everything that makes it a referential object. Chronicle, chromatics, montages, speed, twists, high definition is what represents the fashion of video making, it is exactly what from Xfiction is purged of.
Videoart is capturing another frequency than cinematography, just as poetry stands to novel.
Xfiction was born from thirty seconds of original video, and the apocalyptic, almost cosmic-breathing sounds are nothing but the sounds of the mundane reality of that moment, filmed and "genetically modified" in their intimate structure but -- to maintain the biochemical parallel -- without altering their components. To draw from everyday reality the vision, the possibility of other reading, the prophecy of Babylon hidden among the plots of metropolitan garbage. In this path, however, to unlike other experiences, one refuses the "quotation" of the banal and everyday, and instead leads the image back to a primordial archetype, paleo-expressive, essential, with a "fierce" iconic rigor and a total historical non-placeability.
Direct message, in intermediary, without any complacency, a formal hybrid that does not reject technology, but has the pretension of overcoming its dictatorship that finds all too many servile adherents in critics and artists in the contemporary.
