For the seventh edition of "European Young Theatre," fifty young actors and directors from leading schools in Europe and around the world will offer their studies and performances, competing in a Groups Competition.
The 11th edition of the "Academy Project" is dedicated to presenting the best exercises and essays of 2019. At Teatrino delle 6 - Luca Ronconi, the Academy presents I Ciechi, by Maurice Maeterlinck, an essay by 3rd year students, directed by Mauro Avogadro. Year II student directors and actors, present Heroes, to curated by Francesco Manetti and Monica Vannucchi.
to Villa Redenta 2nd year student directors present Chekhov studies, to curated by Giorgio Barberio Corsetti: Sulla riva di un lago (On the shore of a lake), student director Luigi Siracusa, Dio è morto sulla strada maestra (God died on the highway), student director Andrea Lucchetta, while young director Francesca Caprioli, winner of the production award, presents Ivanov; at Sala Frau, Waiting five years, a study by 3rd-year student director Caterina Dazzi on Federico Garcia Lorca'sopera , to curated by Arturo Cirillo, is staged.
Year I students will enliven the San Nicolo Cloister and the Horsechestnut Casina Gardens with the performance_ Mask 6_ directed from Michele Monetta.
The Academy Company presents three productions: at Sala Frau La casa degli sguardi, based on the novel of the same name by Daniele Mencarelli, directed and adapted for the theater by Lorenzo Collalti, with Lino Guanciale; also at Sala Frau, È un continente perduto, dramaturgy and directed by Francesca Caprioli, whose staging, based on from _The House of Sleep _by Jonathan Coe, is enriched by a meeting with the author; to Villa Redenta, _Un sogno nella notte di mezzestate _by William Shakespeare, directed by Tommaso Capodanno.
