The 2015 Project of the National Academy of Dramatic Art "Silvio d'Amico" opens with a performance of William Shakespeare's Comedy _Pericles, Prince of Tyre _directed by Lorenzo Salveti, Director of the Academy.
For the third edition of _European Young Theatre _more than 50 young actors and directors from the leading European Theatre Schools will converge at the 6 o'clock Theater for a show dedicated to new creativity. Each day actors and directors from the different Schools will take turns presenting their own show conceived and created independently specifically for the space of the 6 o'clock Theater, competing in a Groups' Competition that will see the most deserving proposals awarded at the end of the Festival.
Opening this year is the "Students for Students" section, workshops conducted from 'students' for 'other students,' a workshop dedicated to cross-cultural sharing: studies, performance projects, proposals for new interpretive and training methodologies.
As is now tradition, the very young students of the 1st year of the "Silvio d'Amico" Academy will enliven the city streets with the Performance _Mask 2 _conducted from Michele Monetta, a Study of the Mask.
Saturday, July 11, at Teatrino delle 6, Remembering Luca Ronconi, films recounting the work of the great Maestro and recited contributions from actors graduates of the National Academy of Dramatic Art "Silvio d'Amico" who over the years have followed the educational paths conceived and directed from Luca Ronconi at the Santacristina Theater Center.
