Synopsis

Retrospective organized by the Vittorio De Sica Association

to Edited by Maria Mazzoli, journalist

A review of films and a conference of studies and testimonies to 40 years after the death of the great actor and director. A meeting between great authors of yesterday and today to remember the figure of Vittorio De Sica and confront each other in an open debate on Italian cinema.

Speakers will include Adriana Asti, Lino Capolicchio, Andrea De Sica, Ugo Gregoretti, Gina Lollobrigida, Elsa Martinelli, Pasquale Squitieri, many other actors who starred in De Sica's films such as Brunella Bovo(Miracle to Milano), **Enzo Staiola **(the child from Ladri di Biciclette) and **Rinaldo Smordoni **(Sciuscià), the lyricist, screenwriter and musician Carla Vistarini, producers Gianluca Curti (Minerva Pictures) and **Tilde Corsi **("R&C Produzioni"), Gualtiero De Santi, top De Sica scholar and film critics Fabio Melelli and Ignazio Senatore. Also in attendance will be Umbria Region Culture Councillor Fabrizio Bracco and Spoleto City Council Culture Councillor Gianni Quaranta, the president of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Spoleto, Sergio Zinni, and the president of the Amici di Spoleto Association, Dario Pompili.

Manuel, Emi and Christian De Sica will participate.
